Radio Show - via WQAQ 98.1 FM at Quinnipiac University

Jennifer Moglia is a 19-year-old girl from Mineola, New York. Currently, she is a public relations and management assistant at Melt Music, a box office assistant at Amityville Music Hall, a freelance touring merchandiser, a social media/public relations manager and booking assistant for the Bad Idea Collective, and a live music marketing intern for (Le) Poisson Rouge. She also runs this blog, Strawberry Skies, where she writes music reviews, conducts artist interviews, posts playlists, and runs a weekly radio show.


She is an official TED-Ed speaker, giving her Talk "How being a sports fan helped curb my anxiety" at the organization's TED-Ed Weekend event at their headquarters in New York City in 2020. Jennifer has six years of professional writing experience under her belt, writing for various sports and music publications (FanSided - Blue Line Station, PUCKerUp Sports, Puck It Up!, Girls Behind The Rock Show) since she was 13 years old. She previously served as editor-in-chief of Legends of Tomorrow, a DIY music publication where she wrote and edited articles for both an online blog as well as two physical print issues of the magazine.


In winter 2021, she interned with the Premier Hockey Federation (formerly National Women's Hockey League), shadowing a social media manager. Later on, in summer 2021, she interned with DIMM Entertainment, an artist management and publicity company, shadowing a publicist/artist manager/social media manager. She also served as a social media manager for Burwood Media for six months at the end of 2021. Most recently, she was a tour marketing intern at Epitaph Records from January to May 2022.


In the fall of 2021, she began pursuing her bachelor's degree in media studies at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in their 3+1 accelerated master's degree program. She will complete her bachelor's in 2024 and will complete her master's degree in sports journalism in 2025.

On campus, Jen is a music manager and radio host for WQAQ 98.1 FM, The Soundtrack of Quinnipiac University. She is also a social media manager for the Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network (QBSN) and the vice president of QU's student chapter of the Association for Women in Sports Media (AWSM @ QU).


Jennifer loves music (specifically hardcore and alternative) and going to concerts. Her list of favorite things also includes the color pink, collecting vinyl records, playing Animal Crossing, planning her next trip to visit Winnie the Pooh and Stitch at Disneyland, and watching wrestling, hockey, or baseball.
