Tomorrow, on November 23rd, 2021, multi-instrumentalist Ben Kaunitz will release "Lush Life", a brand-new single and music video under the name Bug Love. Bug Love has been Kaunitz's passion project since 2017, while also performing and recording with artists like Snail Mail and The Obsessives.
On the song, Kaunitz said, "'Lush Life' is about letting go of judgment. I wrote this song about feeling difficulty connecting with those closest to me, and ironically the video feels to me to be mainly a record of close friendships.
We had a great time filming this with a group of our oldest friends, coming together again for the first time after nearly a year’s separation - perhaps you can feel that at this moment. All of us were in new phases of releasing our expectations of life and of art. We just tried to have a good time and make something we were proud of!"
